GeoProMining transported a record amount of ore from Sentachan in 2013

20 May 2013, Moscow – GeoProMining, a diversified international mining group, is pleased to announce that in 2013 the company has transported through its winter road from the Sentachan mine a record amount of ore -- 18,400 tonnes. This is а more than 20% surplus to 2012 data.190 vehicles have been used for transportation.

“We are pleased to achieve such high results despite a rather short operation period of the winter road this year. Relatively warm winter and early spring resulted in a shorterduration of the winter road of 1.5 months unlike usual 2.5 months. We are grateful to our subcontractors that have contributed to our success this year. Next year we plan to retain these extended volumes,” said Alexander Kopyakov,CEO of Sarylakh-Surma and Zvezda, Yakutia-based assets of GeoProMining Group.

GeoProMining has owned two assets in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) since 2007: the Sarylakh-Surma production complex, which consists of the Sarylakh mine and a processing plant; and Zvezda, which develops the Sentachan gold and antimony deposit.
